The best performing companies in trading today were Natura & Co Holding S.A. ADRs (NTCO, up 4.7%) and Moderna Inc. (MRNA, up 4.6%).
After starting the week with a rally, the major indexes opened lower, climbed back but fell toward day’s end. But the Dow and Nasdaq each lost just 0.15%, the S&P 500 a hair less.

Natura & Co Holding S.A. ADRs (NTCO) was the dominant gainer today.
Shares in the cosmetics company rose 4.7% to $5.60.

The second-best mover was Moderna Inc. (MRNA), the NASDAQ company.
It rose 4.6% to reach $135.93.
“There was no obvious news driving either stock, but they are in categories that might fare well during a recession,” said Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard.
