The best performing companies in trading today were Seagen Inc. (SGEN, up 16.4%) and Xpeng Inc. ADRs (XPEV, up 7.8%).
Overall, stocks traded slightly positive to end a down week. The Nasdaq rose 1.4%, but the S&P 500 was up just 0.2% and the Dow down a fraction. For the week, the S&P lost 4.2%, the Dow 4% and the Nasdaq Composite 1.7%.

Shares in the company rose 16.4% to $170.86.
“The Wall Street Journal suggested Merck might buy Seagen out, fueling the gains,” said Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard.
