The best performing companies in trading today were Chewy Inc. (CHWY, up 22.2%) and MongoDB Inc. (MDB, up 19.1%).
Overall stocks ended up on a turnaround day. The Dow was down 300 points at one point but finished up more than 400 points. The S&P 500 gained 1.8%, the Nasdaq Composite 2.7%.

Chewy Inc. (CHWY) was the standout gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 22.2% to $28.70.
“Chewy reported a sales bump for the quarter, and investors seem willing recently to reward companies that eke out gains despite the economy,” said Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard.

Second place for market gainers went to MongoDB Inc. (MDB). The NASDAQ company rose 19.1% to reach $287.99.
“This software company beat on earnings and raised guidance, and was also rewarded with a bump after a rough start to the year,” Prichard said.
