The best performing stocks on the NYSE and Nasdaq today were Twitter Inc. (TWTR, up 3.9%) and Carnival Plc (CUK, up 3.9%).
Overall the market pulled back as inflation concerns flared up. The Nasdaq fell 2.3% while the S&P 500 dropped 1.3%.

Twitter Inc. (TWTR) was the biggest gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 3.9% to $51.93.
The stock had surged yesterday on word Elon Musk had bought 9.2% of shares, and it keep moving up today on news he would join the company’s board.

Another strong performer was Carnival Plc (CUK). The NYSE company rose 3.9% to reach $18.67, after announcing it had just seen its busiest booking week ever.
