The best performing stocks on the NYSE and Nasdaq today were Datadog Inc. (DDOG, up 15.8%) and Lufax Holding Ltd ADRs (LU, up 15.2%).
Overall, the market reacted badly to a report of high inflation that makes interest rate hikes from the Federal Reserve even more certain. The Nasdaq lost 2.1%, the S&P 500 1.8% and the Dow 1.5%.

Datadog Inc. (DDOG) was the top gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 15.8% to $180.05.
“The small software company reported earnings that smashed the forecasts and is working closely with Amazon, which can be good for a small stock,” said Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard.

Another strong performer was Lufax Holding Ltd ADRs (LU), the NYSE company.
It rose 15.2% to reach $5.75.
