The best performing companies in trading today were Citrix Systems Inc. (CTXS, up 14.0%) and Mechel Pao ADRs (MTL, up 9.5%).
Overall it was a rebound day for the market, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining 2.4% and the NYSE up 1.8%.

Citrix Systems Inc. (CTXS) was the largest gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 14.0% to $95.40.
News reports said two investment firms are considering a buyout, at some premium to the price.
