Top performer badges in trading today go to Ciena Corporation (CIEN, up 15.1%) and RH (RH, up 10.8%).
For the day the markets were mixed, with the NYSE up slightly but the Nasdaq Composite slipping 1.7%.

Standout performers in U.S. markets Thursday, Dec. 09, 2021

Ciena Corporation (CIEN) was the standout gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 15.1% to $71.57.
“Earnings were disappointing, but company’s outlook satisfied investors,” said Finder Investments Publisher Ron Prichard.
Second place for market gainers went to RH (RH), the NYSE company.
It rose 10.8% to reach $639.07.
RH, formerly Restoration Hardware, reported record third-quarter revenue after Wednesday’s bell above $1 billion and beat Street earnings estimates.
