The best performing companies today were Aluminum Corporation Of China Limited ADRs (ACH, up 10.1%) and American Airlines Group Inc. (AAL, up 7.4%).

The day was a positive one as the market bounced back from losses last week. The Nasdaq Composite rose about 1%, the NYSE about 1.5%.

Aluminum Corporation Of China Limited ADRs (ACH) was the dominant gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 10.1% to $13.00.

“The stock had lost about half its value since mid-September, so it was a good bounce-back candidate,” said Finder Investments Publisher Ron Prichard.

The second-best mover was American Airlines Group Inc. (AAL), the NASDAQ company.

It rose 7.4% to reach $17.85.

“A lot of tourism-related stocks fell last week on Omicron worries, and jumped back today,” said Finder’s Prichard.
