Today’s top US stocks: Macy’s (M ↑19.3%), ZTO Express ADRs (ZTO ↑11.2%)

The best-performing stocks on the NYSE and Nasdaq today were Macy’s Inc common stock (M, up 19.3%) and ZTO Express ADRs (ZTO, up 11.2%).

Stocks were mixed Thursday with the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipping 60.10 to 35,870.95 and the Nasdaq gaining 72.14 to end at 15,993.71. The S&P 500 index edged up 15.87 to 4,704.54.

Macy’s Inc (M) was the dominant gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 19.3% to $36.79.

Second place for market gainers went to Zto Express ADRs (ZTO), the NYSE company.

It rose 11.2% to reach $32.04.
