The best-performing stocks on the NYSE and Nasdaq today were Farfetch Ltd (FTCH, up 15.4%) and Seagate Technology Plc (STX, up 8.9%).
The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 179.08 to end the week at 36,100.31 and the Nasdaq rose 156.68 to settle at 15,860.96. The S&P 500 edged 33.58 higher to 4,682.85.

Farfetch Ltd (FTCH) was the biggest gainer today.
