The best-performing companies today were Trex Company Inc (TREX, up 10.5%) and Five9 Inc (FIVN, up 10.1%).
Stocks tanked on Tuesday with the Dow Jones Industrial Average sinking 112.24 to 36,319.98 and the Nasdaq slipping 95.81 to 15,886.54. The S&P 500 index settled 16.45 lower to 4,685.25.
