The best-performing companies in trading today were Opendoor Technologies Inc (OPEN, up 17.2%) and Lumen Technologies Inc (LUMN, up 13.9%).

The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 33.35 to 36,124.23. But the Nasdaq climbed 128.72 to settle at 15,940.31 and the S&P 500 rose 19.49 to 4,680.06.

Opendoor Technologies Inc (OPEN) was the top gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 17.2% to $24.44.
