Top performer badges in trading today go to Franklin Resources Inc (BEN, up 11.0%) and ON Semiconductor Corp (ON, up 10.9%).

Stocks kicked off the week on a positive note. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 94.28 to close at 35,913.84 and the Nasdaq rose 97.53 to settle at 15,595.92. The S&P 500 index rose 8.29 to end at 4,613.67.

Franklin Resources Inc (BEN) was the largest gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 11.0% to $34.95.
