The best performing stocks in NYSE and Nasdaq trading today were Enphase Energy Inc. (ENPH, up 22.0%) and Huaneng Power Intl (HNP, up 16.2%).
Overall, the market was basically flat. The Dow did lose 266 points, but that’s 0.75%. The Nasdaq Composite was up only a fraction of 1%.

Enphase Energy Inc. (ENPH) was the top gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 22.0% to $211.58.
“The company reported very strong quarterly revenue that could keep it growing long term, but short term it faces supply chain issues that could hurt,” said Finder’s Investments Publisher Ron Prichard.

Second place for market gainers went to Huaneng Power Intl (HNP), the NYSE company.
It rose 16.2% to reach $20.76.
“The company is in a struggling sector, but the stock is off its September highs so this might some bargain hunting,” said Finder’s Investments Publisher Ron Prichard.[/fin_hide]
