Today’s top US stocks: Alcoa (AA ↑13.5%), StoneCo (STNE ↑10.9%)

The best-performing companies in trading today were Alcoa Corp (AA, up 13.5%) and StoneCo Ltd (STNE, up 10.9%).

Stocks continued their positive trend to round out another volatile week with the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumping 382.20 to end at 35,294.76. The Nasdaq gained 73.91 to close at 14,897.34 and the S&P 500 settled up 33.11 at 4,471.37.

Alcoa Corp (AA) was the biggest gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 13.5% to $55.15.
