The best-performing companies today were Tata Motors Ltd (TTM, up 11.7%) and PagSeguro Digital Ltd (PAGS, up 9.5%).
The Dow Jones Industrial Average continued its slide Tuesday, giving up 117.72 to close at 34,378.34. The Nasdaq edged down 20.28 to settle at 14,465.92 and the S&P 500 gave up 10.54 to close at 4,350.65.
