The best-performing companies in trading today were Opendoor Technologies Inc (OPEN, up 6.5%) and Pioneer Natural Resources Co (PXD, up 4.5%).
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gave up some of Thursday’s gains, dipping 8.69 to close the week at 34,746.25. The Nasdaq dropped by 74.48 to 14,579.54 and the S&P 500 edged down 8.42 to 4,391.34.
