Today’s top US stocks: Mechel PAO ADRs (MTL-P ↑9.6%), Devon Energy (DVN ↑5.5%)

The best-performing companies in trading today were Mechel PAO ADRs (MTL-P, up 9.6%) and Devon Energy Corp (DVN, up 5.5%).

The Dow Jones Industrial Average continued its downward spiral, giving up 323.54 to settle at 34,002.92. The Nasdaq dove by 311.21 to 14,255 and the S&P 500 slipped 56.58 to close at 4,300.46.

Mechel PAO ADRs (MTL-P) was the largest gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 9.6% to $1.82.

Second place for market gainers went to Devon Energy Corp (DVN), an NYSE company.

It rose 5.5% to reach $38.85.
