The best performing stocks in NYSE and Nasdaq trading today were Viatris Inc. (VTRS, up 6.4%) and Biontech Se ADRs (BNTX, up 4.8%).
Overall the market’s big pullback continued, with the S&P 500 falling 3.2% to trade below 4,000 for the first time in over a year. The Nasdaq lost 4.3% and the Dow 2%.

Viatris Inc. (VTRS) was the largest gainer today.
Shares in the Pfizer spinoff company rose 6.4% to $10.59 after a strong earnings report.
Another strong performer was Biontech Se ADRs (BNTX), the NASDAQ company.
It rose 4.8% to reach $142.72.
“The company, which worked with Pfizer on a Covid vaccine, reported that sales and earnings more than tripled in the first quarter,” said Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard.
