The best performing stocks in NYSE and Nasdaq trading today were Generac Holdings (GNRC, up 10.3%) and Service Corporation International (SCI, up 8.8%).
Overall the market rallied today, after the Fed as expected raised interest rate a half percentage point. The Dow rose 2.8%, the S&P 500 2.9% and the Nasdsaq 3.2%.

Generac Holdings (GNRC) was the standout gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 10.3% to $258.21.

Another strong performer was Service Corporation International (SCI), the NYSE company.
It rose 8.8% to reach $70.02.
“Both stocks rose after strong earnings reports, though the market’s momentum might have carried them up as well,” said Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard.
