The best performing companies in trading today were Globant S.A. (GLOB, up 6.8%) and Epam Systems Inc. (EPAM, up 6.0%).

The market overall was in the red, with the Dow, Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 all losing a bit more than 1.5%.

Globant S.A. (GLOB) was the standout gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 6.8% to $264.75.

“The stock of this software company was bouncing back after a sharp drop yesterday on news of a data breach,” Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard said.

Also performing strongly was EPAM Systems Inc. (EPAM). The NYSE company rose 6.0% to reach $310.54.
