The best performing companies today were CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (CRWD, up 14.0%) and Lufax Holding Ltd ADRs (LU, up 7.8%).
The market overall was down sharply early on another report of high inflation, but then came much of the way back. The Nasdaq Composite lost 0.9% for the day, while the S&P 500 and Dow both lost less than a half-percent.

CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (CRWD) was the biggest gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 14.0% to $193.61.
“The cyber security company reported better-than-expected results and some analysts upgraded the stock,” said Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard. “It’s also a sector that may get a boost from security concerns related to the Ukraine conflict.”

Another strong performer was Lufax Holding Ltd ADRs (LU). The NYSE company rose 7.8% to reach $6.05.
