See the 10 biggest gainers on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq.

The best performing companies today were Discovery Inc. (DISCB, up 16.4%) and Zto Express ADRs (ZTO, up 6.5%).

The market opened the week basically flat, with the Dow off just 0.45% and the Nasdaq Composite up a fraction.

Discovery Inc. (DISCB) was the standout gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 16.4% to $41.27.

“Discovery stock has been rising as positive reports on the proposed merger with WarnerMedia continue,” said Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard.

In second spot for market gains was Zto Express ADRs (ZTO), the NYSE company.

It rose 6.5% to reach $29.95.
