See the 10 biggest gainers on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq.

The best performing companies today were Lamb Weston Holdings (LW, up 10.6%) and Continental Resources Inc. (CLR, up 4.7%).

The broader market was down again, with the Dow losing nearly a half percent and the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite down by fractions. All three are down for the first four trading days of 2022, with the Nasdaq showing the biggest drop at 4.75%.

Lamb Weston Holdings Inc. (LW) was the biggest gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 10.6% to $69.78.

“The company’s earnings report wasn’t stellar year over year, but there were signs of a rebound,” Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard said.

The second-best mover was Continental Resources Inc. (CLR). The NYSE company rose 4.7% to reach $48.73.
