Top celebrity NFTs
The past year marks an explosion for NFTs, and some of the biggest celebrities have joined the craze.
From celebrity tweets to viral clips such as the one of Paris Hilton on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon,” NFTs were all the craze in 2021 and show no sign of dwindling anytime soon. We’re seeing some of the biggest names in Hollywood rushing aboard the NFT hype train, tokenizing everything from music to artwork.
Let’s take a look at the top 10 celebrities who nailed their NFT drops and gained recognition from the NFT community:
Snoop Dogg
With The Doggfather’s history as an entrepreneur and connoisseur of internet culture, it’s no surprise that the American rapper is a proponent of cryptocurrency and NFTs.
Before participating in the NFT community, Snoop Dogg was an early promoter of Dogecoin. In February 2022, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” artist rallied alongside fellow DOGE supporters Elon Musk and Gene Simmons in tweeting Shiba Inu memes, pumping the price of the meme coin by more than 55% over one weekend.
In April 2021, Dogg made his debut into the NFT space known with the announcement of an exclusive drop via Crypto.com. The collection, “A Journey with the Dogg,” features Snoop’s memories from his early years, NFT-inspired artwork, an original track called “NFT” and “Snoop Dogge Coins.” One of the pieces, titled “Death Row,” sold for $108,000.
Last September, Dogg revealed that he’s accumulated valuable NFT assets under the pseudonym Cozomo de’ Medici. The entire collection is valued at around $17 million.

Ozzy Osbourne
In January 2022, the Prince of Darkness dived into the world of NFTs with the announcement of his project “CryptoBatz,” which was inspired by the infamous moment he bit off a bat’s head during a 1982 Black Sabbath performance in Des Moines, Iowa.
Weird, but the “CryptoBatz” project is actually pretty innovative. Each Cryptobat comes with a one-off opportunity to “bite” another NFT from the collector’s wallet to spawn an additional “MutantBatz” NFT, which will carry traits from both projects.
