If you’re a fan of this chain of discount retailers, earn rewards for your spending to redeem on the goods you already love with one card: TJX Rewards® Credit Card. This store card gives you 10% off your first purchase, $10 for every $200 you spend and the ability to unlock sweepstakes and giveaways, invitations to exclusive events and new-merch notifications when you register your card online.
Synchrony Bank will review your application and let you know whether you’re approved within a few business days. If you have strong credit, you may be upgraded to a TJX Rewards Platinum Mastercard, which comes with stronger benefits, including rewards points wherever Mastercard is accepted.
The biggest markdowns at T.J. Maxx historically hit in January and July, when seasonal merchandise gets swapped out. Since this brand doesn’t usually offer much for Black Friday, you might want to hold out until the January sale to spring for a new wardrobe.
No matter what time of year you shop, you can always browse clearance items on the T.J. Maxx website and scoop up a coupon for extra savings.
Discount fashionistas everywhere boast the deals they find at T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Sierra Trading Post. If you’re already a fan, this simple store card can save you a percentage off your spending with an “in” on exclusive discounts and more.

If I buy something and immediately pay it off, can I go a long period without using it, so long as everything is paid off? So like, maybe a one time monthly shopping trip if I already have the cash ready to pay it off?

Hi Cat,
Thanks for reaching out to finder.
In order for you to be eligible for TJX rewards program, you need to visit and use your credit card for purchases at T.J.Maxx, and its affiliate stores like Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra Trading Post, Homesense at least once every 12 months.
You can also contact your credit card provider directly to confirm this information.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Charisse

I just got this card today and it’s the card that I can only use in the store .. which is all I wanted .. does this card report to the credit bureaus ?? If so how often ??

Hi Shelly,
Thanks for leaving a question on finder.
Yes. This card reports to the credit bureaus. Typically, lenders report both positive & negative information to the credit bureaus once every month. Your credit score can change a bit each month, depending on the information on your credit reports. There are three major credit bureaus in the United States: TransUnion, Experian and Equifax.
Cheers,
Joel
