Tarte’s new Shape Tape Foundations are now out

Ryan Brinks 16 January 2018 NEWS

Tarte releases its new Shape Tape foundations in two types and 30 shades

Tarte Cosmetics just launched its Shape Tape Foundation line with 30 shades in two different formulas.

Two versions of the foundation, each in 15 colors, were launched this week alongside a shaper sponge and foundation brush on the Tarte website, and at least 10 more colors are coming, the brand teased through a Popsugar link posted on the Tarte Facebook page.

The foundations come either as matte or hydrating, and both promise full coverage, long wear, no oil and hypoallergenic properties.

The matte version aims to minimize pores, absorb shine and nourish with vitamin E without flaking or caking, while the hydrating formula “makes skin luminous and fresh”, hydrates through hyaluronic acid and smooths skin.

For $39, you can get the Shape Tape matte foundation in the following shades: fair sand, fair neutral, fair-light neutral, light neutral, light sand, light-medium neutral, light-medium honey, medium honey, medium sand, medium neutral, medium-tan honey, tan honey, deep honey, rich sand and mahogany.

The hydrating formula costs the same but comes in porcelain, fair beige, fair-light neutral, light neutral, light sand, light-medium beige, light-medium honey, light-medium sand, medium honey, medium sand, medium neutral, medium-tan honey, tan sand, deep honey and mahogany shades.

The shaper sponge is an $18 latex-free blending tool to buff the Tarte Shape Tape hydrating foundation into your skin, and the Paddle to Perfection Foundation Brush is a $28 tool for the matte foundation that sports cruelty-free and vegan bristles that are dense and soft.

Besides being available online directly from Tarte, Popsugar reports that the new products are also coming to Ulta Beauty, and Sephora also carries a number of other Tarte makeup products.
