Target launches Black Friday preview sale
Offering early discounts on board games, toys, baby products, headphones, Christmas trees and more.
To celebrate the release of its 2017 Black Friday advertisement sales catalog, Target is running a special Black Friday preview sale, online and in-stores, Monday November 6, featuring electronics, toys and baby products.
Target’s one day only preview sale was announced when the retailer released its official Black Friday 2017 ad this week, showcasing storewide deals, discounts and savings available over the Thanksgiving Day weekend.
The preview sale features Wondershop 6 ft. pre-lit artificial Christmas trees for half price at $29.99, VTech digital video baby monitors for just $89.99 and $100 off AeroBed double-high queen air mattresses from $49.99.
Target’s Black Friday sale will begin at 6 pm on Thanksgiving night (November 23). This year, stores will close at midnight and re-open on Friday, November 24, at 6 am. Target.com will also offer free shipping all weekend.
Apple’s latest version of its 9.7-inch iPad will be on sale for $249.99, offering customers a discount of $80. This is the lowest advertised price for the device, although Best Buy and Walmart may provide competition.
Target will also offer Apple’s 10.5-inch iPad Pro for $529.99 during the sale, taking $120 off its retail price.
As part of its 2017 Black Friday sale, Target will again offer Black Friday doorbuster deals exclusively on Target.com on the morning of Thanksgiving. These specific items are only available while quantities last.
Target also enabled REDcard holders to make payments with their smartphones in the lead up to the holidays. Cardholders can pay for purchases and redeem Cartwheel coupons by scanning the barcode on their app.
Last week, some of the largest online and in-store retailers in the US, including Amazon, eBay and Walmart launched early November Black Friday sales, offering holiday season discounts on both products and shipping.
Last month Amazon, Target, Toys “R” Us, Walmart and others released their top toy lists for 2017.
Americans are projected to spend around $60 billion over Black Friday and Cyber Monday this year alone.
