TAP Air Portugal may automatically add a promo code to your purchase. To switch it out, click Remove discount at checkout, then click I have a voucher and enter your code.

    Cancellation, refund and change policies

    TAP Portugal Air offers full refunds if you cancel the trip within 24 hours of making a purchase — as long as it’s at least seven days from the departure date.

    If you cancel the flight less than a week before take-off, but still within that initial 24-hour window, you’ll have to pay a $30 fee and the refund will come as a TAP Air Portugal voucher that you can use to fund future travel.

    After 24 hours have passed, the rules regarding changes and cancellations depend on your route. Check your tickets to see the conditions that apply.

    When you apply for a refund through your FLYTAP account, you won’t be charged a fee. However, if you apply through the sales desk or contact center you’ll be charged a $40 service fee.
