It’s not cheap being a UFC fan. Tickets for fights typically cost well in excess of $60 each. Even staying home and watching pay-per-view broadcasts can set you back a small fortune. However, in addition to the pay-per-view platform, UFC is now broadcast on several sports streaming services that won’t break the bank.

UFC Fight Pass combines live coverage of a range of UFC events with a massive library of past fights from numerous combat disciplines. For a fifth of the price of a single Fight Night pay-per-view, you can watch hundreds of hours of UFC content, anytime, anywhere.

How to watch UFC online in the United States

In the US, ESPN, ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass are your options when it comes to watching the action live. There are typically different broadcasts for early prelims, prelims and the main card. We break down all the options below.

Watch UFC online on ESPN+

In March 2019, ESPN signed a 7-year deal with the UFC to show pay-per-view fights exclusively on its streaming service ESPN+. It followed an earlier deal to secure rights to UFC Fight Night, replacing Fox Sports.

ESPN+ costs $4.99/month or $49.99 for an annual subscription. Pay-per-view fights are then priced at $64.99, although you should keep an eye out for discounted bundles for big UFC events when you subscribe to ESPN+. You’ve also got the option to bundle ESPN+ with streaming services Hulu and Disney+ for a discounted rate.

ESPN+ is available on a range of mobile devices, Smart TVs, gaming consoles and more. We’ve put together a full review of the streaming service, which you can read here.

Watch UFC on ESPN

You can watch some UFC events on the standard ESPN channel if you have cable TV or a channel subscription. For example the preliminary fights for UFC 251 Usman vs Masvidal are on ESPN. But the early prelims are only on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass. Though once again the main card is on ESPN+.

Stream UFC on UFC Fight Pass

You can access an enormous amount of MMA content through UFC Fight Pass. For $9.99/month or $95.99/year, you get access to the early prelims from the biggest UFC events. Pay-per-view events are added to UFC Fight Pass about one month after the event has aired live. Details on devices, data use and much more can be found in our UFC Fight Pass review.

      Hi Heather,

Thanks for leaving a question on finder.

If your smart TV does not have UFC fight pass pre-installed, you can search for it by going to your TV’s app store or it’s equivalent. The other work around would be to install a tv box to your tv that has UFC fight pass or is compatible with the UFC app.

Please send me a message if you need anything else. :)

      Cheers,
      Joel

      Hi MJT,

Thank you for leaving a question.

Depending on the subscription you have with your provider, you may be able to see all PPV UFC fights live. If you are not under a subscription for UFC Fight pass, these fights may be sold separately in Standard Definition or High Definition. The fight pass cost is indicated on the webpage we are on. Hope this helps!

      Cheers,
      Reggie
