Details about the ShopRunner free membership

There are five ways you can get a free ShopRunner membership:

  • You have an American Express consumer or small business credit card.
  • You have a Chase consumer or small business credit card.
  • You have an eligible World Mastercard or World Elite Mastercard product.
  • You’re a Yahoo member.
  • You’re a PayPal member.

With an eligible Amex or Mastercard, sign up through ShopRunner’s landing pages for these cards. Enter your first and last name, card number and desired password. If your card checks out, you’ll receive a full ShopRunner membership.

For Chase cardholders, you must enroll in by February 28, 2021. Keep in mind, your complimentary Shop Runner membership lasts only for one year.


As a Yahoo or PayPal member, sign up through ShopRunner’s landing pages for these services. At the time of this writing, you can register with any email address, and you’ll get a complimentary one-year ShopRunner subscription.

What is the ShopRunner membership fee?

The ShopRunner membership fee is $79 a year.

With an eligible American Express or Mastercard credit card, ShopRunner is always free after you enroll.

As a Chase cardholder, or Yahoo or PayPal member, you’ll receive a free one-year ShopRunner membership.
