Shopping can get especially expensive when you factor in shipping fees. But if you have an Amex, World Mastercard or World Elite Mastercard credit card, you’ll get a free ShopRunner membership. You can also get a one-year membership as a Chase cardholder, or as a Yahoo or PayPal member.
Details about the ShopRunner free membership
There are five ways you can get a free ShopRunner membership:
- You have an American Express consumer or small business credit card.
- You have a Chase consumer or small business credit card.
- You have an eligible World Mastercard or World Elite Mastercard product.
- You’re a Yahoo member.
- You’re a PayPal member.
With an eligible Amex or Mastercard, sign up through ShopRunner’s landing pages for these cards. Enter your first and last name, card number and desired password. If your card checks out, you’ll receive a full ShopRunner membership.
For Chase cardholders, you must enroll in ShopRunner.com/Chase by February 28, 2021. Keep in mind, your complimentary Shop Runner membership lasts only for one year.
As a Yahoo or PayPal member, sign up through ShopRunner’s landing pages for these services. At the time of this writing, you can register with any email address, and you’ll get a complimentary one-year ShopRunner subscription.
What is the ShopRunner membership fee?
The ShopRunner membership fee is $79 a year.
With an eligible American Express or Mastercard credit card, ShopRunner is always free after you enroll.
As a Chase cardholder, or Yahoo or PayPal member, you’ll receive a free one-year ShopRunner membership.
By registering normally — without going through the Amex, Chase, Mastercard, Yahoo or PayPal portals — you’ll receive a free 90-day subscription to ShopRunner.

Any Amex consumer or small business credit card will get you a complimentary ShopRunner membership for as long as you remain a cardholder. Chase credit cards offer complimentary membership only for one year.

What is Express Checkout?
When you add your billing and shipping information to ShopRunner, your details are saved. You can click the ShopRunner logo while checking out on a retailer’s website, and your information will automatically be filled.

- While checking out, sign in to your ShopRunner account.
- Select ShopRunner as your shipping option. You’ll receive free two-day shipping and complimentary returns.
There may be a minimum order amount to qualify for free shipping. Also, some items may not be eligible for the benefit.
ShopRunner can help you get your items faster from over 100 retailers. At select retailers, you can pay faster with Express Checkout.
