How ShaveMob works

Other services offer lots of shaving products, but ShaveMob keeps it simple. ShaveMob’s starter package includes a shaving handle and 4, 12 or 24 cartridges, depending on the package you choose. When you run out of cartridges, you can order more from the website.

You’ll find these products for men and women:

  • Shave sets. A shave handle and supply of cartridges.
  • Cartridge refills. New cartridges to place on your handle.
  • Replacement handles. If you lose your handle or your current handle becomes unusable, you can order a new one.

For men, ShaveMob also sells its Tea Tree Shaving Cream.

Shaving cartridges

ShaveMob offers three-blade, four-blade and six-blade razors. For the six-blades, you can buy them with or without attached trimmers (for men) or flex heads (for women).

A shave set comes with one handle and a number of cartridges, depending on which package you pick.

Shaving cream

ShaveMob offers its Tea Tree Shaving Cream for men at $6.99, in a 3.4 ounce size approved for airline travel. In comparison, Dollar Shave Club’s Shave Butter costs $6 for six-ounce tube. Harry’s Shave Cream is the most expensive of the three, at $8 for a 3.4 ounce tube.

ShaveMob pros and cons

One of ShaveMob’s biggest benefits is that you aren’t locked into a recurring membership. But if you’re looking for a large selection of shaving products — like shave balm, face lotion or travel kits — you might have better luck at competitors like Dollar Shave Club and Harry’s.
