The UOB EVOL Credit Card is a cashback card which has impressive rates when you spend on dining, travel, shopping and entertainment. You can get up to 8% cashback on online and mobile contactless spend. The cash boost applies to overseas spending as well as local; helping the card to stand out from its competitors. Also, there’s a further 0.3% cashback on on all other spend. To take advantage of these percentages, you’ll need to spend a minimum of S$600 per statement month. Bonus rebates are capped at S$60 per statement month (capped at S$20 per category: Online, Mobile Contactless and Other spend).

Benefits of the UOB EVOL Credit Card

  • Sign-up offer. Apply and spend at least S1,500 within 30 days and receive S$300 cash credit. For first 100 new-to-UOB credit cardmembers. T&Cs apply. Valid until 31 Oct 2021.
  • Bonus cashback. Cardholders can earn up to 8% bonus cash rebates on online and mobile contactless spend. To qualify, you’ll need to spend a minimum of S$600 on eligible transactions per month in the qualifying periods. Cardholders who do not meet the qualifying spend will earn 0.3% cashback. Again, terms and conditions apply.
  • Annual fee waiver. Enjoy first year fee waiver and subsequently no annual fee with three transactions monthly for 12 consecutive months prior to your card anniversary date. T&Cs apply.

Application criteria

  • Singaporean citizens or Permanent Residents (PRs), must demonstrate a minimum income of S$30,000 annually or Fixed Deposit collateral minimum of S$10,000.
  • Foreigner nationals must have a minimum income of S$80,000 or Fixed Deposit collateral minimum of S$10,000.
  • 21 years of age or over.

Required information/documents

  • Singaporeans and PRs should provide a National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) for each principal and supplementary card applicant.
  • Salaried employees also must supply either a computerised payslip for the past 3 months, their latest 12-month Central Provident Fund (CPF) contribution statement or latest Income Tax Notice of Assessment and computerised payslip.
  • Commission-based employees should also supply either their latest 12 months’ CPF contribution statement, latest Income Tax Notice of Assessment and computerised payslip or Income Tax Notices of Assessment for the past 2 years.
  • Self-employed individuals have to supply Income Tax Notice of Assessments for the past 2 years.

Foreigners must also provide the following:

  • Employment pass with minimum 6 months’ validity.
  • Photocopy of passport with minimum 6 months’ validity (for principal and supplementary applicants).
  • Proof of local home address through latest billings, such as bills for utilities or phones.

Existing UOB credit card members are required to show most recent income documents to update credit limit or if they have new employment circumstances.
