Why might I choose Tiq travel insurance?

Tiq travel insurance by Etiqa offers travel insurance coverage for all trips, including cruises to nowhere. This ensures peace of mind when you travel. In addition, the plan comes with the following advantages:

  • Monkeypox coverage. Monkeypox is covered under its policy inclusions.
  • Flight delay coverage. If you choose to purchase travel insurance from Etiqa, it covers you if you have a 3-hour flight delay. You do not have to submit a claim for this, and the payout will be made immediately to your eWallet.
  • Pre-existing conditions are covered. Most travel insurance plans will not cover claims from pre-existing medical conditions. However, Etiqa has plans that cover these conditions(e.g. diabetes and cancer) as long as the illness is stable and under control.
  • Optional Covid-19 coverage. The optional add-on provides coverage up to 14 days before your trip. You are covered up to $5,000 for non-refundable trip costs. You can also claim for medical expenses incurred overseas in the unfortunate event that you get Covid-19 while travelling abroad.
