Singtel SIM Only Review | Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Tailor your plan to your needs.
  • Singtel is one of Singapore’s most trusted mobile networks.
  • 6 free months of Apple Music when you sign up to a 12-month contract.

Cons:

  • Although SIM only plans don’t bind you to a handset contract, some of the options are only offered over a 12-month period. Meaning you’re still tied into a contract until the end of the 12-months.

How does Singtel SIM Only delivery work?

If you have requested a new number, delivery of your SIM card is free of charge to your home address. If you’re keeping your number from another network, you’ll have to give details from your existing SIM card and checkout and contact your previous provider to inform them of your intention to leave and retain your number. Singtel will do the rest.

All delivery timescales are quoted at checkout.

What payment methods do Singtel accept?

  • Visa
  • Mastercard

What is the Singtel SIM Only cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms and conditions vary from contract to contract. If you sign up for a SIM Only no contract plan, you’ll be able to cancel at any point by contacting the Singtel customer service team.

Signed up for a 12-month contract? There is a cooling off period during which you have the right to contact your Singtel network services. For full details, make sure you read the terms and conditions carefully before signing up.

If you want to switch from a SIM only contract to a Phone and SIM combo contract, contact Singtel customer services and they’ll advise whether this is possible and the best way to go about upgrading your contract.

You can also check your recontract eligibility by signing into the “My Account” section of the Singtel website.
