    • Property loss/damage while in the custody of a transport provider. Inform the airline/cruise/train/bus operator and request for a Property Loss/Damage Irregularity Report. Take photographs of the damaged items for claim submission and retain the items for inspection (if applicable). Also, provide any purchase/repair receipts and warranty cards if they are available.
    • Personal accidents, medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation. Original hospital bills, receipts and medical reports.
    • Travel delay. Request for a letter from the carrier stating the reason and period of disruption.
    • Property damage or third party bodily injury. Note down the particulars of the third party, details of the incident and extent of claim. Do not admit liability, settle or negotiate a settlement without the insurer’s approval.

So if you’re looking for a policy with more extensive coverage compared to the ones offered by your school’s insurance provider, MSIG Global Study is definitely worth considering.
