About FWD Insurance
FWD Insurance is the insurance arm of Hongkong-based investment group Pacific Century Group. The Singapore branch began its operations in 2016. It aims to introduce straightforward financial products that customers can access digitally to improve their overall experience.
Bottom line
FWD Insurance offers affordable housing insurance coverage for homeowners who are landlords and tenants. Its wide range of benefits and optional add-ons help minimise claim shocks and cover a variety of incidents arising from damage to the house and contents of the house.
However, the plan does not cover the cost of moving home contents. Additionally, home contents apart from furniture, domestic appliances and audiovisual equipment are only protected only up to a maximum sum of $1,000, which may not be sufficient.
Before applying, know that other popular insurers such as Income and MSIG also offer comprehensive home insurance policies in Singapore. So be sure to compare your options before choosing one that’s most suited to your needs.
