    Eligibility criteria

    While eligibility requirements may vary from card to card, you can expect the following standard requirements:

    • Age. You must be between 21 and 65 years old (or at least 18 years old for the Standard Chartered MANHATTAN $500 Card and all supplementary cardholders).
    • Minimum income. Except for students applying for the Standard Chartered MANHATTAN $500 Card, most Standard Chartered credit cards require the following minimum income levels:
      • S$30,000 for Singapore citizens or Singapore permanent residents (SPRs)
      • S$60,000 for foreigners with P1, P2 or Q type Singapore employment passes
    • Residential status. Singaporean citizens, permanent residents and foreigners can apply for a Standard Chartered credit card. However, foreigners may be subject to higher income requirements and stricter employment criteria.
    • Credit history. Applicants must have a good credit rating.

    Required documents

    Make sure you have the following information and documents ready when you apply:

    • Personal details. You’ll need to provide personal details including your name, email address, phone number, residential address and National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) or passport and Employment Pass Number with date of expiry.
    • Credit card information.
