    Eligibility criteria

    While eligibility requirements may vary from card to card, you may expect the following standard requirements:

    • Age. You must be between 21 and 65 years old (or at least 18 years old for the Standard Chartered MANHATTAN $500 Card and all supplementary cardholders).
    • Minimum income. Except for students applying for the Standard Chartered MANHATTAN $500 Card, most Standard Chartered credit cards require the following minimum income levels:
      • S$30,000 for Singapore citizens or Singapore permanent residents (SPRs)
      • S$60,000 for foreigners with P1, P2 or Q type Singapore employment passes
    • Residential status. Singaporean citizens, permanent residents and foreigners can apply for a Standard Chartered credit card. However, foreigners may be subject to higher income requirements and stricter employment criteria.
    • Credit history. Applicants must have a good credit rating.

    Required documents

    Make sure you have the following information and documents ready when you apply:

    • Personal details. You’ll need to provide personal details including your name, email address, phone number, residential address and NRIC or passport and Employment Pass Number with the date of expiry.
    • Credit card information. You’ll need to provide your credit card number and disclose information including your annual income bracket, whether you currently hold a Standard Chartered credit card and the type of card you wish to apply for.
