While specific requirements may vary depending on the Citibank card you apply for, most Citibank credit cards have the following requirements:
Age.You must be at least 21 years of age (or at least 18 years of age for the Citibank Clear card).
Minimum income.Except for students applying for the Citibank Clear card, most Citibank credit cards require the following minimum income levels:
S$30,000 for Singapore citizens or permanent residents (SPRs)
S$42,000 for foreigners in employment for at least one year
Residential status. Singaporean citizens, permanent residents and foreigners can apply for a Citibank credit card. However, foreigners may be subject to higher income requirements and stricter employment criteria.
Credit history. Applicants must have a good credit rating.
Make sure you have the following information and documents ready when you apply:
Personal details.You’ll need to provide personal details including your name, email address, phone number, residential address, NRIC or passport and Employment Pass Number with the date of expiry (if applicable).
Credit card information.You’ll need to provide your credit card number and disclose information including your annual income bracket, whether you currently hold a Citibank credit card and the type of card you wish to apply for (travel, rewards, cashback or student for example).

You can activate your new Citibank card via the Citi Mobile app or online.
To activate on mobile:
Download the Citi Mobile app on your phone from the App Store or Google Play.
Click “Activate your card” and follow the provided instructions to complete your card activation. If you’ve already logged in to the mobile app, under “Credit card settings” tap “Activate now” and enter your one-time pin (OTP) and CVV of the new card.
To activate via online banking:
Log in with your provided user ID and password
Under “Services” > “My Profile”, click on the “Card Activation” link and follow the steps on the screen.
