      2. Select the credit card that best suits you, considering your lifestyle, credit needs, spending patterns and personal circumstances.
      3. Check the eligibility criteria for your chosen credit card to ensure you meet those requirements by selecting “Compare” in the table.

      As mentioned above, make sure you meet the following eligibility requirements and have the relevant documents you need on hand.

      Eligibility criteria

      While specific requirements may vary depending on the Citicard you apply for, most Citi credit cards have the following requirements:

      • Age. You must be at least 21 years of age (or at least 18 years of age for the Citi Clear card).
      • Minimum income. Except for students applying for the Citi Clear card, most Citi credit cards require the following minimum income levels:
        • $30,000 for Singapore citizens or permanent residents (SPRs)
        • $42,000 for foreigners in employment for at least one year
      • Residential status. Singaporean citizens, permanent residents and foreigners can apply for a Citi credit card. However, foreigners may be subject to higher income requirements and stricter employment criteria.
      • Credit history. Applicants must have a good credit rating.

      Required documents

      Make sure you have the following information and documents ready when you apply:

      • Personal details. You’ll need to provide personal details including your name, email address, phone number, residential address, NRIC or passport and Employment Pass Number with the date of expiry (if applicable).
      • Credit card information. You’ll need to provide your credit card number and disclose information including your annual income bracket, whether you currently hold a Citi credit card and the type of card you wish to apply for (travel, rewards, cashback or student for example).
