Budget Direct was founded in 2000 and today offers motorcycle, travel, car and home cover to millions of policyholders across the world. Budget Direct’s policies are underwritten by Auto & General Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Limited, which is part of the global BHL Group. Budget Direct motorcycle insurance levels of cover

With Budget Direct, you have three levels of cover to choose from – Comprehensive, Third Party, Fire and Theft; and Third Party Only.

Comprehensive cover

This is the most cover offered by Budget Direct. It gives all of the same protection of third party, fire and theft cover; along with cover for any damages to your motorcycle.

Third party, fire and theft cover

This mid-range insurance covers the cost of any repairs following damage or injury to other people’s vehicles and property. Plus, it covers you against loss or damage to your motorcycle if it’s stolen, or gets damaged by fire.

Third party only

This is the most basic type of motorcycle insurance and it will only cover any injury or damage you cause to other vehicles and property. It doesn’t offer any financial assistance for injury to you or repairs to your vehicle.

In addition to what’s covered by each of these three policies, you can pay to get specific add-ons (which are called Optional Cover). For example, if you choose a No Claims Discount Protector (NCD) you can retain your annual policy discount if you have one accident over the course of your policy term.

The policy details in the table below are general overviews of the main inclusions that come with each cover level. For more detail on the inclusions, along with any exclusions and conditions that apply, we recommend that you check the policy wording on this provider’s website.
