All the best deals to snap up at Amazon’s Prime Day

Prime Day 2020.

If you love sales, this long-awaited mega one (13-14 October) from the e-commerce giant – it was postponed from July – means a jammed packed 48 hours of online shopping.

A sale that’s open to both Prime members and non-members with stockists that includes big US brand names (see below). If you aren’t already a Prime member, the sale is a good reason to join, and it’s free for the first 30-days (thereafter it’s $2.99 per month). Why? Because membership unlocks over 1 million discounted items under their “Lightning Deals” section and is one of many ways to score some solid savings.

While you get your trusty HSBC Credit Card in hand (click here to find out how you can get up to $200 cash reward), here are some other pro tips to get the most out of this year’s Prime Day sale.

– The best bargains are available in limited quantities so create a Wish List and get alerts when said item goes on sale.

– Lightning Deals sell fast so once it’s in your cart, don’t delay you have just 15 minutes to complete the purchase.

– Anything Amazon-branded will be getting a price slash, so if you’ve been waiting for a Kindle, Echo Dot or Fire Tablet, this is the time to snap it up.

– Look for bundles, items like a Fire TV Stick or Echo Dot might get thrown in as a freebie with a more expensive Amazon-branded item.

– Load up on Household and Baby items. $100 expenditure receives an additional 30% discount and $22 off.

– Spend $80 on Home Essentials and unlock $20 savings.

– Purchase gift cards if you can’t decide what to buy now. Purchase at least $50 worth of Gift Cards in a single transaction and a bonus $10 Gift Card will automatically be added to your Amazon account.
