Tigerair: Melbourne-Townsville

When does it launch? 22 June 2017
How often does it fly? 4 weekly services
Where is the stopover? Non-stop, direct
Who else competes on that route? Jetstar, operating 4 direct flights in the evenings
Anything else I need to know? Travel time is approximately 3 hours


United Airlines: Singapore-Los Angeles

When does it launch? 27 October 2017
How often does it fly? Daily services
Where is the stopover? Non-stop, direct
Who else competes on that route? No competitors operate direct flights
Anything else I need to know? Travel time is approximately 15 hours 15 minutes. As a result of this new route, the Hong Kong-Singapore sector will be cancelled from 28 October 2017.


China Eastern: Guangzhou-Cebu

When does it launch? 28 June 2018
How often does it fly? 2 weekly services
Where is the stopover? Non-stop, direct
Who else competes on that route? No competitors operate direct flights
Anything else I need to know? Travel time is approximately 3 hours 20 minutes


Air India: Delhi-Copenhagen

When does it launch? 16 September 2017
How often does it fly? 3 weekly services
Where is the stopover? Non-stop, direct
Who else competes on that route? No competitors operate direct flights
Anything else I need to know? 8 hours 10 minutes


Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and UAE suspend flights to Qatar until further notice

As of today, all flights between Doha and Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE have been suspended until further notice. This primarily affects flights on Emirates and Etihad Airways.

Any customers booked on affected flights will be provided with alternate options, including cancelling their flight or rebooking to a alternate destinations on your airline’s route for free.

Land and sea transport between Doha and these nations have also been suspended.
