For a second Best Egg loan, your total existing Best Egg loan balances cannot exceed $100,000. Annual Percentage Rates (APRs) range from 8.99%–35.99%. The APR is the cost of credit as a yearly rate and reflects both your interest rate and an origination fee of 0.99%–8.99% of your loan amount, which will be deducted from any loan proceeds you receive. The origination fee on a loan term 4-years or longer will be at least 4.99%. Your loan term will impact your APR, which may be higher than our lowest advertised rate. You need a minimum 700 FICO® score and a minimum individual annual income of $100,000 to qualify for our lowest APR. For example: a 5‐year $10,000 loan with 9.99% APR has 60 scheduled monthly payments of $201.81, and a 3‐year $5,000 loan with 7.99% APR has 36 scheduled monthly payments of $155.12. To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. Best Egg products are not available if you live in Iowa, Vermont, West Virginia, the District of Columbia, or U.S. Territories.

What makes Revolut shine

Revolut offers quick turnaround personal loans for existing customers who’ve had a Revolut account for at least 30 days and meet its eligibility requirements – which include a minimum credit score of just 600. These loans can be requested in-app, and if approved, you could have funds in just a few minutes. And you don’t need to pay for a Revolut membership to apply for a loan.

And as a digital banking app, Revolut lets you hold, send and receive money in 28 currencies, making it ideal for travelers and people with family and friends around the globe. And compared to a service like PayPal that charges steep fees for sending payments, it’s designed to make payments across borders easier and less expensive.

Where Revolut falls short

Revolut appears to fall short in the area of customer service. While the vast majority of customers like Revolut’s app and have had no issues using it, there have been multiple complaints lodged on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website from customers who mention a lack of support from Revolut when they ran into issues with missing funds and locked accounts.

While Revolut has responded to many of these complaints, it currently has an “F” business rating for how it’s handled these complaints.

How Revolut compares to other lenders

Compared to other lenders, Revolut offers a quick and easy way to apply for a loan in-app. If approved, you could have funds in just a few minutes. This is significantly faster than many online lenders that can take up to 24 hours to transfer funds into your account after approval.

However, compared to some other no origination fee lenders — like LightStream and SoFi that offer rates starting at around 8% APR — you could end up paying more for a Revolut loan. This is especially true if your score is above 740, which is considered very good credit.

As always, it’s a good idea to compare multiple lenders when choosing a personal loan to make sure you’re getting the best deal. Compare Revolut’s rates, terms and features to other popular personal loan providers.
