What is Raydium?
Raydium is an automated market maker and liquidity provider. Built on the Solana blockchain, Raydium uses the Serum decentralized exchange order book in an effort to offer faster trades and more liquidity. You can use the platform to trade and swap tokens, plus earn RAY tokens through farming and staking. RAY is Raydium’s native utility token. RAY holders can stake their tokens to generate yield, while the tokens can also be generated from liquidity pools known as Raydium Farms. The Raydium litepaper also mentions a limited governance model where stakers will be able to vote on community proposals and changes.
