Polychain Islands is a non-fungible token (NFT) based, play-to-earn game that allows players to collect monsters and produce resources that they can sell and earn money from. The game utilizes the NFT gaming concept. Polychain Islands offers users the chance to collect monsters, which are essentially animated NFTs, each unique and with a differing rarity. Polychain Islands is one part of the Polychain Monsters metaverse.
By using the core token of the ecosystem (PMON), users can experience the thrill of unpacking new Polychain Monsters that belong to them only. They can play to earn by doing battle, farming the PMON token or selling various types of resources in the marketplace.
Players can win tickets to participate in exciting initial DEX offerings (IDOs), as well as construct buildings and start companies. Lastly, users can create their own Polyverse where they can protect their PMON.
NFTs stands for non-fungible tokens, which means digital assets that are rare, unique, distinct and non-interchangeable. In the Polychain Monsters ecosystem, NFTs represent Polymon, which are animated NFTs. These monsters can be purchased in packs using the platform's native token PMON.
Every booster pack contains 3 Polychain Monsters which are digitally generated and possess random traits such as horn type, rarity and glitter. In addition to being an NFT, Polychain Monsters implements some elements of decentralized finance (DeFi) such as staking and PMON farming. Polychain Monsters employs a unique take on NFT staking. NFT staking is known as collector staking and it allows collectors to earn weekly financial rewards. As such, the game combines NFT staking, DeFi and gaming.
There are 2 main ways to play and earn within Polychain Monsters.
The PMON token is the native token of the Polymon platform. PMON is an ERC20 token, which means it is a token within the Ethereum blockchain.
Find an exchange to buy, sell and trade PMON by comparing deposit methods, supported fiat currencies and fees. Select Go to site to sign up directly with the provider.
PMON plays several roles on the platform.
The PMON token unlocks Polychain Monsters, which are backed by NFTs. The token contributes to the liquidity of the platform by allowing the swapping between NFT and PMON. When swapping takes place, some PMON is burned, increasing its scarcity.
PMON is listed for trading on several exchanges, including KuCoin, Gate.io, PancakeSwap (V2), ZT and Uniswap (V4).
Farming PMON allows you to interact with the Polychain Monsters Polyverse and earn rewards and special giveaways. At this time, the only blockchain that users are able to farm on is Binance Smart Chain. All farms and rewards are limited to Binance Smart Chain.
Below are the different elements that enable gameplay in Polychain Monsters.
Polychain Islands is a blockchain-based, play-to-earn game that allows users to exchange value, socialize and battle, all via Polymon NFTs. Players that win battles and tournaments receive awards. Polychain Islands is just one part of the Polychain Monsters metaverse.
Players can buy plots of land, after which they are eligible to construct factories and harvest resources. Other players can rent this land and build on it while paying a dividend to the landowner. These plots are represented by NFTs, making each of them unique and secure.
There are 2 ways of earning from land:
Engage in battles, win tournaments and win Essence, the most valued resource in the Polyverse. Essence is the key to Polymon Park, where people catch wild monsters. Essence also allows you to create ultra-rare and valuable items and property and also win certificates to take part in IDOs.
As long as users are a resident of Polychain Islands, they own a meta-backpack. The meta-backpack is designed for users to store Polymon tokens. Users can also build their city and invite other players to battle with Polymon and exchange resources with each other.
Polychain Monsters or Polymon are NFTs with different attributes that players can train to battle in the vast lands. The core concept is animated NFTs, which are waiting to be discovered in digital booster packs. The discovery is done via the Polyverse's native token PMON, which runs on Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.
Polymon come in many forms that vary depending on each one's rarity and uniqueness. Such rarity includes differences in color, glitter and horn type. Monsters feature a horn that varies from one to the next in shape and reality.
