Best plus-size lingerie
You shouldn’t have to compromise when it comes to your lingerie wish list. Targeting the right sites can help you find what you’re looking for faster — with more options to choose from, too.
Best overall: Lovehoney
Most of Lovehoney’s plus-size lingerie has dozens of reviews that you can read to see how the items actually hold up. Lovehoney has everything from sexy lingerie costumes to bondage-inspired teddies, clubbing outfits, chemise sets and super-cute crotchless panties. Better yet, most items ring in at less than $50 — so you can treat yourself without overspending.

Best teddies: Yandy
Yandy has hundreds of teddies to set the mood, including sheer mesh teddies, lace teddies and strappy teddies. There’s even a fabulous gold sequined teddy for nights when you’re feeling that disco vibe.
Best corsets: Miss Martha’s Corset Shoppe
Miss Martha’s Corset Shoppe makes plus-size bras from 2XL to 5XL. Browse lace and silk corsets in a range of styles, from steampunk to vintage and harlequin (perfect if you’re cosplaying Harley Quinn).
Best bras: Hips & Curves
Hips & Curve has bras from City Chic, Fox & Royal, Avenue and CCX, in addition to its own private label. It’s great for plus-size bras simply because of the wide selection, and because you won’t need to sacrifice style for size. From hot-pink bras to logo sports bras, you’ll find over 200 plus-size bras here.
Best lingerie sets: Lane Bryant
Whether you’re feeling flirty, sexy, lazy or cozy, Lane Bryant has dozens of lingerie sets to fit your mood. We like that it makes lots of cotton lingerie sets, which allow your skin to breathe and can help prevent bacteria build-up. Get matching panties and bras in pretty lace, vibrant patterns or tried-and-true neutrals.
- You’ll find super-sexy lingerie sets at Cacique, its black label intimates brand.
Best everyday sexy: Savage x Fenty
Rihanna’s line of lingerie is surprisingly soft, considering her mega-hit S&M. You’ll find lingerie for everyday wear in feminine pastels, rich jewel tones and dainty florals, in up to 3X. This lingerie thrills in the bedroom while being comfy enough to wear under your day clothes.

How to measure for the best fit
If your bra doesn’t fit right, it can be uncomfortable — or even downright painful. It could even break if it’s the wrong size.
Here’s how to measure your bod for plus-size lingerie:
- Find a measuring tape.
- Put on a lightly lined or unlined bra.
- Measure around your rib cage, right beneath your breasts. Round down to the nearest even number to find your band size.
- Next, measure around the fullest part of your breasts. For most women, that’s right around your nipples, but everyone’s unique.
- Subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement, and use the table below to find your cup size.

How to know if it actually fits
Even if you know your correct size, here’s how to evaluate how well a bra fits when you try it on:
- The part of the bra that’s between your breasts should lay flat to your chest.
- You should be able to fit two fingers under your straps. If they hurt your shoulders, go up a cup size!
- If your girls spill out, you need bigger cups. If the cups wrinkle, size down.
- The underwire should sit like a circle around your breasts, hugging your body. If your underwire bends or contorts to accommodate your girls, the bra is too small.
- If your band rides up, requiring pulling down throughout the day, size up a band size.
