The PlatON Network is a decentralized privacy-preserving artificial intelligence (AI) network created by the LatticeX Foundation. With a focus on providing the next-generation Internet basic protocol, the network combines blockchain technology, verifiable computing, secure multi-party computing, zero-knowledge proofs and homomorphic encryption.
According to the project’s website, the development of this next-generation AI network is divided into three distinct components.
The first is a decentralized data-sharing and privacy-preserving computation infrastructure that connects data users, data owners, algorithm developers, and arithmetic providers. The second is a decentralized AI marketplace that offers the entire spectrum of AI-related products and services. These include AI assets, AI computing power and algorithms, AI capabilities, as well as production, deployment, and integration. The final defining feature of the PlatON Network is the decentralized AI collaboration module that allows different AI networks and protocols to work together to solve complex tasks.
LAT is the native utility and governance token of the PlatON Network. The token powers the economic activities within the network, such as service transactions fees, and also grants holders the right to vote on network operations. Proposals can include choosing the focus of developers and the implementation time of software upgrades.
