Warren Buffett is considered the greatest investor of all time by many experts. His journey through life is nothing short of legendary — from selling gum for profit at the age of 5, to investing in stocks for the first time at the age of 11, to his current net worth of some $123 billion (US$84 billion) at age 87.

We partnered with Visual Capitalist to produce a series of infographics that illustrate the highlights of Buffett’s life.

This is part one of a five-part biographical series, with new parts released each month.

Warren Buffet, we salute you!
