NFL Draft 2020 preview

With the NFL Draft being so large, predicting even the top five can be an inexact science and that’s without factoring in trades. LSU’s star quarterback Joe Burrow is at least expected to be the number one pick by the Cincinnati Bengals. He isn’t the only highly rated QB, with Oregon senior Justin Herbert and Alabama standout Tua Tagovailoa tipped to be top 10 selections. Other names high on mock draft boards include Ohio State duo Chase Young and Jeff Okudah, Derrick Brown, Jedrick Wills Jr. and Isaiah Simmons.

Coronavirus also impacted the traditional scouting period. Players were able to undergo physical examinations at the NFL Combine in late February and early March. But players were unable to have face-to-face meetings or have individual workouts with clubs.
